Lab Training

Gain insights into the Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food technology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Clinicals, agriculture, Pharmaceuticals and other allied subjects, an all-in-one training by qualified and experienced professionals will be provided under the umbrella of Azoth Biotech. Training in state-of-the-art laboratory with world class equipments will be given. Hands on experience of lab instruments and techniques will be provided to the candidates. The training program is being organised under Azoth Biotech. Main objective of such training is to encourage the students of state towards biotech education and research. Duration of these training programs is 30 / 45 to 90 days for graduates / post graduates students and 180 days (dissertation program) only for post graduates students of biotechnology / microbiology / allied sciences. During the training period, selected students  have been completing their respective research works in the advanced research laboratories of the council. During training, trainee would get training in the fields of Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering; Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory; Hydroponics & Soilless Agriculture and Bioinformatics.

Medicinal Plants

Post-harvest processing techniques for higher yield of essential oils from Lemongrass/Mentha leaves. Pilot scale production of essential oil from Lemongrass/Mentha herbs. Purification techniques of essential oils. Production techniques of concretes and absolutes from Jasmine/Rose flowers. Isolation techniques of natural thymole from Ajwain oils. Techniques for isolation of bioactive compounds from Turmeric rhizomes /Andrographis peniculata /Artemisia annua plants. Techniques for production of Aloe vera gel & its powder.


Extraction and estimation of oil for seeds & other material by solvent extraction method. Trans-esterification of seed oil  at lab scale. Biodiesel production at lab scale. Estimation of physicochemical properties of oil / biodiesel. Physico-chemical comparative study between commercial diesel and biodiesel. Culturing and sub-culturing of microbes and scale-up of cultures. Media optimization: Plackett Burman design. Basics of bioreactor and its parts, types of bioreactors. Plant Lab Training

Our interdisciplinary research explores various dimensions of the historical, current and potential future interactions of people with the land. Grading, packing  and dispatch. Standerization of equipment & fumigation of labs and materials. Record maintain & Accredation.

Industrial Training

Our institute gives practical experience in specific domains to the biotechnology graduates. It provides industry-specific training to Biotech students for skill development and enhancing their job opportunities in biotech industries engaged in R & D, quality control & analysis, production & manufacturing, marketing, regulation and IPR. The programme is mutually beneficial to students and industry as the students get first hand exposure to industrial work-culture and required skills while the industry get a chance to evaluate its prospective employees.

Food Technology

The purpose of the training programme is to upgrade skills and generate trained human resource in the related sector. The Trainee will also be prepared to describe indications for procedures used in Food Product Analysis and quality control standards.

Scope of training
- There are plenty of good opportunities in research, analytical testing, quality control, dairies, production and marketing. Other options include working in hospitals, bakeries, confectionaries, poultry farm, nut processing industry, frozen food units, the food processing division in catering units, distilleries and packaging industry .
Furthermore It is an attempt to better understand food processes and ultimately improve food products for the general public.

Insilico Training/ Bioinformatics

Apart from our R&D we provide industry driven training and project for research students in their academia for preparing their research oriented projects/Internships dissertation for the partial fulfillment of B.Sc/M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Phil/M.Tech/PhD with International Research Paper Publications. We strive to provide research solutions in a timely manner with uncompromising commitment to quality, reliability, and efficiency. The training program would introduce bioinformatics aspects of life science research and its relevance to industry. Current technologies, understanding of popular Biological/Chemical databases, software applications and algorithms would be discussed. We train the candidates for one month before starting the project with various softwares/tools (almost 40 - 50 softwares) and databases. We have a wide area of research areas in both Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Before starting the research project we will provide training for the candidates with various Bioinformatics tools/ softwares and databases. Training program will be covering practical hands on Genomics, Proteomics, Protein 3D Modeling, 2DQSAR, 3DQSAR, Pharmacophore mapping, Drug Designing, Molecular Docking utilizing commercial software and suites. After successful completion of the training, candidate will be undertaking live and research oriented project which has not been submitted by any other student to any college/university/ institute so far. If a candidate opts for 6 months project, the same shall be communicated to any International journal. Many of our students projects has been published in various international journals. In addition to the Dissertation project thesis, the core bioinformatics training will help the students to prepare their careers and technical skills to getting opportunities in rapidly growing life science, Biotech, Pharma/Bioinformatics industries.

The course provides substantial evidence for the health benefits of herbal and algal-derived products and considerable challenges in quantifying the benefits, as well as possible adverse effects.
